Beginning Your Journey with Village

Starting childcare is an important milestone for families. At Village Early Learning, we make the enrolment process simple and straightforward, guiding you through each step from your first tour to your child’s first day.

Step 1
Book a Tour

Your journey begins with a personalised tour at your preferred Village Early Learning centre.

During your visit, you can:

  • Meet our Centre Director and educators
  • Explore our learning environments
  • Learn about our programs, philosophy and daily routines
  • Discuss your child’s needs, interests and routines
  • Ask questions about care, education and enrolment

Following your tour, you will receive our Family Handbook and information to begin the enrolment process.

Step 2
Complete Enrolment

Once a place becomes available, we will confirm your child’s start date, booked sessions and orientation options. If your preferred days or centre are unavailable, your family may be added to our waitlist.

Our online enrolment process collects key information to help us provide safe and personalised care, including:

  • Child and family details
  • Emergency contacts
  • Medical information and allergies
  • Authorised collection contacts
  • Relevant legal documentation (if applicable)
  • Birth certificate
  • Current Immunisation History Statement from the Australian Immunisation Register

A $50 enrolment fee applies once your child’s place has been accepted.

Step 3
Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

Eligible families can apply for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) through myGov before their child begins care.

You will need:

  • Your Centrelink Reference Number (CRN)
  • Your child’s Centrelink Reference Number (CRN)

You’ll sign a Complying Written Arrangement (CWA) with us through Kidsoft, then confirm your child’s enrolment in your Centrelink account via myGov before CCS can apply. Our team can guide you through both steps if needed.

For more information about CCS eligibility, entitlements and how subsidies work, visit our Child Care Subsidy (CCS) page or use the CCS Calculator to estimate your family’s potential subsidy.

Step 4
Orientation

Orientation gives children the opportunity to become familiar with their learning environment, educators and daily routines before their first day.

Every child settles differently, and our educators work with families to understand their routines, interests and needs.
